Lionel Messi has played in adidas boots for 8 years. Adidas celebrate this by equipping the Argentinian superstar with his own silo - Messi 10.1. The boots design is inspired by the graffiti that you see all over the streets of Messi’s hometown, Rosario. It is furthermore fitted with ’die drei Streifen’, so you get a boot with an eye-catching and thorough design. Messi 10.1 is built around the same qualities as the adidas F50 adizero, which means it is still lightweight and has a good touch, something Messi will use to devastating effect. The boot is made with adidas' k-leather emulating upper called Hybridtouch, which combines all the advantages of both synthetic and leather. It is an incredibly supple and thin material, which wraps itself around your foot. In addition, it takes in less water, is more durable and doesn't 'over-stretch' as leather is prone to do. The Hybridtouch material is coated with a 360 degree Dribbletex texture. This 3D texture, which is implemented on the entire upper, gives an increased grip on the ball, when you are dribbling at full throttle. The Speedtraxion stud configuration is a newly developed stud configuration from adidas that focuses on three areas - acceleration, direction change and turns. The studs are still triangular, but this time around they are more blade shaped on the one side, which allows for a larger contact area with the ground and as a result more effective transferal of energy to the ground. The result is a more effective kick-off, both in terms of acceleration and changes of direction. The sole is as we know it, the successful adidas Sprintframe continues in a 2.0 version. It is just 1 mm thin in some areas and is made of TPU, which ensures low weight, as well as durability, while still being rather responsive. Altogether, this ensures a boot that moves with your foot. This model is compatible with adidas MiCoach, with which you can monitor your training and games digitally. Weight: 180 gram With FG studs for firm ground surfaces such as grass.
