FIFA 13 introduces five game-changing innovations - artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and physical player impact to create realistic challenges across the pitch, creative freedom for strikers as well as the drama and unpredictability from the real life football macthes.
A brand new striker intelligence equips the players with the most sophisticated, artificial intelligence ever seen. The players analyse the free spaces on the pitch, work harder and more intelligent to break down the defense and they are constantly one step ahead in thought and in action. Thanks to the most intuitive dribbling-system in the series ever, every single touch on the ball can now be decisive. Through inspiration from the best player in the world, Lionel Messi, the "Complete-Dribbling"-system will make it possible to challenge the opponent and use millimeter precision dribblings combined with full 360° freedom of movement, making it easier to be creative and dangerous in the head-to-head duels. The first-touch system of FIFA 13 transforms the way in which the players control the ball and thus makes it less possible to always gain full control over the ball in the first touch. This gives the defenders more oportunities to regain possesion.
The second generation of the unique Player Impact Engine, expands the physical challenges in such a way that they no longer just include collisions, but also challenges without a ball. The defenders push and tear to gain possesion and use their size and strength to force the oppostition into making the wrong decisions even before the ball finds them. The tactical freekick combinations in FIFA 13 provide the tools necessary to create more lethal and unpredictable freekick combinations. Place up to three players by the ball and use movement and quick passes to fool the opponents.
