Nike Air Max 1 MID FB is made with an upper of mesh and leather. With Nike Air Max 1 you get a classic shoe with the very best possible shock-absorbency. The Nike Air Max is equipped with a visible Max Air unit in the heel for optimal shock-absorbency. A full-length foam mid sole gives durability, stability and added padding for optimised comfort. Furthermore there is extra foam around the ankle, which gives even more comfort. Nike's revolutionary Air-Sole unit became a part of Nike footwear around the late 70's. In 1987 Nike Air Max with visible air in the heel had their debut. Now the user could not only feel the Air-Sole comfort, they could actually see it.
